What kinds of writing are welcome?
Fiction, poetry, memoir, essays, scripts, comedy, romance, horror, speculative work, nonfiction, experimental work, and work that does not know what it is yet.
Do I need to be published?
No. You only need pages, curiosity, and a willingness to revise. The site also gives members a path toward publishing through submissions and Cult Quarterly.
How does feedback work?
Members can send pieces to the critique queue, receive structured feedback, and track submissions through the portal. Feedback is meant to be specific, honest, and usable.
Will events be in person or online?
Both can be listed. The Events Desk supports physical locations, online links, RSVP counts, waitlists, and published/draft states.
What is the Writer Studio for?
Drafts, projects, tasks, goals, sparks, sprints, critique, submissions, public profile controls, messages, notifications, and activity.
